Welcome to the IAS Science Hub
A new home for analytical-science insight from the IAS lab — what we'll publish, and why we built it.
Welcome to the IAS Science Hub — the new editorial side of Industrial Analytical Services. For over two decades our lab has answered thousands of questions about water, materials, and biological samples, and we have decided it is time to share more of that knowledge directly with the people who rely on it.
What you will find here
The Hub will cover two kinds of stories:
- Scientific News — methods, instrumentation, and analytical developments from inside the lab and the wider field.
- Industry News — practical guidance on compliance, standards, and testing programs across the industries we serve, from reagent-water quality to failure analysis.
Why we built it
Most conversations in analytical chemistry start with a question, not a quote. "Is my process water within spec?" "What is this unknown deposit?" "How do I read this metals report?" The Science Hub is our way of answering those questions at scale — in plain language, written by the chemists and engineers who actually run the instruments.
What is next
We are publishing regularly from day one. If there is a topic you would like us to cover — a specific ASTM method, a matrix we have not written about, or a question from your own work — send it to the lab and we will add it to the queue.
Thanks for reading, and welcome aboard.
